Rhune Mountain

A symbol of the Basque country, with its peak rising to 905 metres, the majestic Rhune mountain dominates the French and Spanish coastal horizons.

You can climb this mythical mountain on the picturesque Rhune train from the Col de Saint Ignace, or opt for a hike from the villages of Sare, Ascain or Urrugne, taking around 2 to 2,5  hours and covering a difference in altitude of 700 metres.
